HOW TO MAKE CORN NUGGETS?

Sampling all the great dishes everybody brings to the group is one of our favorite things about a get-together, aside from the great company! Now, we enjoy a nice casserole-it still has our name on something fluffy and cheesy-but, finger food is really the place to go while there is a crowd of people trying to mingle together and catch up with each other. This is why we still test fresh recipes to see what needs to be changed to make things perfect… which is exactly what happened with these nuggets with corn!

We enjoy all kinds of tasty fried foods, especially for us, those corn nuggets are unique. They have entire kernels of corn and creamed corn, frozen into balls, then dipped in a sweet batter, flavored and fried to perfection. These nuggets are so delicious that if you had any on hand, you might even throw in some cheese and we received great reviews from everybody who tried them. oIf croquettes are your favorite, you will certainly love these nuggets, so catch some corn and fry it!

INGREDIENTS:

  • A can. Of 11-oz Of whole kernel corn, I drained it.
  • Creamed corn, one medium can.
  • 1/2 Cup.Of yellow cornmeal.
  • 1/2 Cup.Of all-purpose flour.
  • An egg white.
  • 2 Tbsp.Of whole milk.
  • Kosher salt and pepper ( to taste).

FOR DEEP FRYING:

  • 3 Cups.Of vegetable oil.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1:

I placed the creamed corn in a medium dish, then I substituted the drained whole kernel corn.

Step 2:

I covered an aluminum baking sheet with cooking oil or vegetable oil.

Step 3:

I placed the frozen corn in an excess of pinches onto a baking sheet, and freeze until solid, around 3 hours.

Step 4:

I heated one inch of oil at 350 degrees F = 175 degrees C for several minutes in a large deep skillet.

Step 5:

I combined the flour with the cornmeal, egg whites, milk, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.

Step 6:

After dipping frozen corn nuggets into the batter, I easily fried them in hot oil until golden brown.

Step 7:

I dropped the paper towels to drain.

ENJOY THESE CORN NUGGETS!! THERE ARE SUPER YUMMY!!
