+ Cue Fiesta Taco recipe :

I have a rule in my house: If you hang out in the kitchen, I’ll put you down at work. Fortunately, they are usually eager to help with dinner preparation. We all jump to deal with a separate part of the preparation. Dinner is prepared faster and is fun. Plus, it’s kind of surprising how open your kids are to you when you hang out and roll out pizza dough.

Also, when you help prepare the food, she gets some early taste tests The crew The staff loves any type of pizza recipe. This special recipe for pizza braid made with several different methods at my home.  This time we decided to use the taco theme!

+ How to make a taco braid ?

* Ingredients:

° 1 lb / 480g lean ground beef.

° Chilled pizza dough.

 ° cups shredded lettuce.

° 1 cup of grated cheese: Fiesta Blend.

° 1/2 cup chopped onion.

° 1/2 cup water.

° 3 tablespoons of homemade taco seasoning.

° 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

° 1 diced tomato + more to garnish.

° 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter * melted.

° Sour cream or taco sauce to serve.

* Directions :

Step 1:

Use parchment paper to arrange a folded baking tray by lining it.

I put oven temperature ( 375 degrees F )  .

Step 2:

I heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

I added the chopped onion and cooked for 5 minutes until soft.

Add lean beef, then cook over low heat until brown.

I added water and homemade tacos and mixed them until well combined.

Reduce the heat and boil for 7 minutes.

Step 3:

Meanwhile, I have transferred parchment paper to my storyboard.

I put parchment in with pizza dough and rolled it so that it measures 10.15 inches.

I made 1 12 and 3 inch slices around the two long sides of the crust with a pizza cutter.

I put minced meat in the middle of the dough.

Using 3/4 cup of cheese to cover the beef, then add diced tomatoes.

I folded the end up, starting at one end of the braid, and twisted the first two strips to secure it.

The fourth step:

For the remaining slices, I only repeated wrapping before the last two.

I folded the remaining tip and wrapped it around to protect the last two slices.

Fifth step:

I gently brushed the top and sides with the melted butter. And sprinkle over the remaining cup of cheese.

Step 6:

On a rimmed baking tray, I transferred parchment, and baked until golden brown, for 20 to 25 minutes.

I let it cool down before serving for 5 minutes.

Step 7:

For the toppings, I covered the top with chopped romaine lettuce and extra tomatoes. And the taco braid served with sour cream and taco sauce.

It was delicious as I said, I really hope your families enjoy it. Mine definitely did.

Kids will enjoy eating it and it will be a great meal to take for a walk.

Enjoy !
