If you’re a Reese fan, these homemade peanut butter Christmas trees will blow your mind!

Ingredients :

  • 1 c creamy peanut butter
  • cup melt un-salted butter
  • 2 tsp sugar-brown
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • Half tsp of salt
  • 2 c powder-sugar
  • 10-12 oz. Chocolate chips or chocolate cut into small pieces (I used half semi-sweet chocolate and half milk chocolate)

Directions :

  1. An 8-by-8-inch plate with parchment paper, leaving the paper hanging down the sides so that you can easily lift it later and set it aside.
  2. Then in mix bowl, mixing peanut butter, melt butter, brown sugar, vanilla, also salt together to sugar dissolve. After that, mixing powder sugar.
  3. Press mix to prepared dish. Smooth top with spatula or simply tap it with your palms to flatten layer for an inch thick.
  4. Placing it in freezer to it is firm to chop.
  5. While mix is firm enough, line tray with paper-parchment also set apart .
  6. Use Christmas tree cookie cutter, cutting out trees & placing them on tray. Placing in freezer about 45-60 min to firm.
  7. Then melt chocolate also line other tray with butter-paper.
  8. Utilize fork, dip every tree in melt chocolate to covering it totally . Sweetly tap fork to drip off excess chocolate. (Since the peanut butter mixture softens very quickly at room temperature, I suggest you take only a few trees at that time out of the fridge, because it’s easier to work with hard trees!!! ) Placing chocolate cover Christmas trees on-parchment-line-tray . Putting it in fridge to chocolate-hardens.
  9. Refrigerate-or freeze about longer-storage.
  10. I made 18 Christmas trees, but the number depends on the size of the cookie cutter. Mine was about 1 x 2 inches.Don’t waste dough, scoop up the scraps, knead, squeeze with your palms, and you can cut at least 23 more trees.

Enjoy !
