German Chocolate Cake

How To Make a German chocolate cake?

Component :

  • Cake :

3 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 small spoon of salt

1 cup buttermilk

4 eggs whites, whiskered

1 cup boiling water

5 ounces German chocolate

2 cups of sugar

1 cup butter, softened

4 egg yolks

1 tsp vanilla

Coconut-Pecan Frosting

3 egg yolks

2 cups peeled coconut

1 cup divided pecans

1 cup of sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 cup evaporated milk ( 12 oz)

1 tsp vanilla

Methods :

Step 1:

Heating oven to 350 F.

Step 2:

Melt the chocolate with boiling water; in large mixing bowl mix butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs yolk, one at a time. Beat in chocolate and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt every other with buttermilk, beating after every addition until batter is sleek. Fold in egg whites.

Step 3:

Divide batter between pans until cooked.

Coconut-Pecan Frosting :

Mix sugar, milk, butter, vanilla, and egg yolks in a saucepan. Cook over heat, until thick, for 13 minutes.
