Orange Dreamsicle Salad

with No Comments

I like to make what I call “sweet side dishes” in the summer. You know those. They are technically called a salad, but they are so sweet that they can easily be doubled as a dessert. I make a lot of different things, especially when the weather is warmer and they’re perfect for picnics or cooking, especially if you like to make them on top and take them out.

Orange Creamsicle Salad is a Dreamsicle in a bowl and it reminds me of getting dessert from an ice cream truck when I was a kid. It has mini marshmallows and mandarin oranges for garnish and is the easiest orange dessert you can make at home on a hot day.

HOW TO PREPARE THIS Orange Dreamsicle Salad Recipe!!

Ingredients:

1 box instant vanilla pudding, sugar-free
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 container fat-free Cool Whip, 8 oz
l box sugar free Orange Jello

Directions:

Dissolve jello in 1 cup boiling water. Add 3 ice cubes to a cup and fill with cold water. Stir until dissolved and set aside for 5 minutes to cool. Drain oranges and set aside.

With elextric mixer stir in instant pudding (dry) to jello, beating until pudding is well mixed. Let stand for 15 minutes. Then fold in the thawed cool whip and then the oranges.
