CROCKPOT FRIED APPLES!!

An absolutely delicious copycat Cracker Barrel fried apples recipe you can make at home right in your slow cooker.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 lbs apples, peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add apples and cornstarch to slow cooker. Stir to coat apples.
  2. Pour in the brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon, stirring to mix well.
  3. Add butter, lemon juice, and vanilla. Stir to mix well.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  5. When cooking time is complete, stir and serve.
