How To Make Texas Sheet Cake Cookies?

This Texas Sheet Cake Cookies recipe is THE most popular on my blog; these soft and moist cookies are prepared using a cake mix and then frosted with a delicious yet easy-cooked chocolate frosting. You’ll receive all of the tastes of classic Texas Sheet Cake in a delicious cookie. You do not want to miss this recipe for Texas Sheet Cake Cookies!
If you have never had a slice of Texas Sheet Cake, I am really sorry. I ate my first slice as an adult, and I am not kidding… Without it, I feel as if my childhood was completed! When grandmother Pearl cooked it for a family gathering for the first time, I was hooked, but who wouldn’t be?

It’s a thin but oh-so-moist chocolate cake topped with a delicious handmade chocolate frosting. It’s unsurprising that it’s become a Texas institution.

Today, I’ve transformed this cake into my favorite foodstuff!! Additionally, I kept things simple by using a cake mix as the cookie foundation. Utilizing a cake mix to create cookies is an excellent time-saving technique since it requires minimum ingredients and produces amazing results.
The secret to making a great cookie, particularly when using a cake mix as a foundation, is to avoid overbaking them. After 7-8 minutes, remove them from the oven. Allow them to cool for a few minutes more on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack. Allowing the cookies to bake for an excessive amount of time will result in a rock-hard cookie that is neither delicious nor attractive, so follow the directions below as directed!!

For the Cookies dough, I used:

One chocolate cake mix box

2 large whisked eggs.

A third Cup.Of vegetable oil.

The frosting ingredients:

A stick.Of butter.

2 large spoons.Of unsweetened cocoa.

3 large spoons.Of almond milk.

250 grams.Of powdered sugar.

METHOD OF WORK:

1st Step:

To start the preparation, you need to heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2nd Step:

Next, you’ll need a large mixing basin; combine in all cookie ingredients and stir until fully combined.

NOTE:

The dough will be very thick.

3rd Step:

Then, scoop cookies onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet using a medium-sized cookie scoop or heaping tablespoon.

4th Step:

After that, bake for approximately 8 minutes and remove from the oven, then let it cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack. Continue until all of the dough has been cooked.

5th Step:

For the frosting:

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the first three frosting ingredients and stir until melted.

6th Step:

And remove it from heat and whisk in powdered sugar until smooth.

7th Step:

Now, you’ll spread icing on top of cookies, and of course, move the extra frosting using a knife or spoon to ensure that each cookie is thoroughly coated.

8th Step:

At this step, you need to allow the frosting to set before serving, and keep your Texas sheet cake cookies at room temperature for up to 3 days in an airtight container.

Enjoy.
