Enjoy these bars made from sugar cookie mix

Ingredients :

  • 1 pouch Betty CrockerTM Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) cold butter
  • 2 pkg. (250 g each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp.) All-purpose flour
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can cherr pie filling
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) sliced ​​almonds

Steps :

  1. Preheat oven 175 ° C (350 ° F). Spraying 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) pan with cook spray.
  2. Placing cookie blend in bowl. Add the butter with a pastry cutter (or by taking 2 table knives and passing them over the mixture each in one direction), until the mixture is coarsely grainy.
  3. Reserve 375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of this paste for garnish. Press the remaining dough evenly into the bottom of the pan. Cook for 10 minutes. Let cool.

  3. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until lightly golden in color. Let cool for 30 minutes. Refrigerate about 2 h Cutting to 6 rows & 4 columns. Covering & stored in refrigerator.
