Baked Crab Legs in Butter Sauce – Pioneer COOKERY

Baked Crab Legs in Butter Sauce

with No Comments

Perfectly baked crab legs with a spicy garlic butter sauce will melt in your mouth with every bite! The combination of spices and the crunchy taste of crabs will be the only way to cook crab legs again!

Every two months, I like to prepare a “fancy” dinner for my husband and I. We both love all kinds of seafood, but baked crab legs are a family favorite! A spicy garlic butter sauce complements the crab legs perfectly. It’s both a dipping sauce and a glaze.

Most people used to steam crab legs. There is nothing wrong with that except for one thing. You don’t taste any spices. After years of fumigation, I decided to try a new method. By baking the crab legs, not only do you get a crunchy crust that cracks, and you may keep the crab meat tenderly inside, but you also get more flavor. Much more flavor!

This dinner is a feast. I made some Red Lobster biscuits, shrimp (glazed with the same spicy garlic butter sauce) and a simple Caesar salad. Feel free to pair with any aspects you desire.

What do you think of spicy garlic butter? I’d love to hear how this works with crab legs.

  • Ingredients :

° 2 pounds of snow crab legs
° 1 cup butter
° 4 teaspoons minced garlic
° 1 squeezed lemon
° 12 teaspoon ground red pepper
° 1 pinch of dried parsley
° 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
° 1 teaspoon of old Gulf spices

  • Instructions :

Pre-heat oven 375 deg . Meanwhile, bring yourself a small pot. On a low heat, melting butter. Adding garlic (better press) and sauté a little. Pressure in your favourite citrus juice . If you are using lemons, squeeze the juice into your hands so you can easily remove the seeds. Reduce the heat and allow these flavors to set until the oven is nice and hot. Then mix with a pinch of salt, olive oil, old laurel spices, ground red pepper, and a pinch of dried parsley. Turn off the stove.
Arrange the crab legs on a baking tray covered with aluminum foil. Grease each stalk with the butter sauce, keeping some sauce for dipping. Sauce stored in a skillet can be reheated before serving.
Placing it on middle rack Of oven. Baking about 26 min .

Enjoy !
