Carrot Cake – Pioneer COOKERY

  • How To Make Carrot Cake:  

Here’s my recipe:

Ingredients:

2 c flour

2c sugar

2tsp cinnamon

2tsp bkg soda

1tsp salt

1 tsp nutmeg

1-c veg oil

3- lg eggs

3- cups grated carrots

1-c crushed pineapple (drained)

Directions:

Add oil, sugar, spices, salt, pineapple, carrots and eggs to lg bowl and mix for 5 mins.

Add your flour and beat 2 mins. Pour into a lightly greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.

Bake on 350 1 hour

Note:

You can bake cake in 2- 9” pans for 35 mins if you want layers! Let cakes cool before frosting!

FROSTING:

8 oz pkg of cream cheese room temp

2-3 cups of powder sugar

1-stick of rm temp butter

1-tsp vanilla extract

1-TBS of milk

Blend all together and frost your cake.
